CREATION AND HUMAN GOODNESS

30Jun

We reflect on the effects of the choices of the citizens of Sodom and Gomorrah.  Was the destruction a natural or supernatural disaster?  Are we punished by our sins or for them?  We look in on this ancient reality.

SUPERFOOD AND THE EUCHARIST

7Jun

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ.  We celebrate the gift of Jesus in the Eucharist.  He comes to nourish us, strengthen us, guide us along our journey.  Unlike some Christians who take communion as a symbol, we take Jesus at his word when he says, "This is my body...This is the cutoff my blood."   The eucharist is the superfood.

RAPHAEL AND RELATIONSHIPS

4Jun

We investigate the role of St Raphael and how God commissions the angel bring healing to Tobit and restore his sight and bring healing to Sarah whose relationships have ended tragedy.  What is Raphael's role and how can we utilize his intercessory power in our own lives. Then we come to love: what is it we ask?  Love is not a feeling, sentiment or emotion sole.  It is all those things and more.  Love as We hear Jesus speak of it is a command.  We bring personal concern for the well being and well-fare of all to the front in order to fulfill the command.
